Norried's painting has been in business for 68 years! It all started with Jim Norried, an Arkansas native, who returned from the war in the late 1940s and relocated to the SF Bay Area. He began working in the industrial painting industry before moving to residential painting and starting Norried's Painting in 1952. Over the years, 4 additional brothers came out west to work with their brother, including Huey Norried who took over ownership in 1962. Along the way, many of the Norried children and extended family have been involved in the business. Upon the passing of Huey in 2001 his son, Jon, continued as owner. Jon has over 45 years of experience, and has many memories riding around to jobs with his father as early as the 1960s. Jon's 3 children have all spent many years working in the family business as well.
